With Spilberk Castle as its beautiful seat, the Brno City Museum was founded in 1904 and it's one of the main cultural venues in the city. "Gateway to Time", for example, is a long-running archaeological exhibition showing visitors primeval localities and medieval finds from Brno and surroundings.

This great engineering project was constructed in 256 BC and still functions today. Logs, stones and bamboo cages were used to make a water conservancy, and this simple construction has been protecting the vast Chengdu Plain for over 2000 years. There are lots of traditional architecture in this historical area, among which, the An'lan suspension bridge is the most famous one.

Three glass artists Lars Sø, Maja Cunningham and Simon Holm try out new techniques and shapes in their own blowing room. Erikshyttan was established in 1991 in Eriksmåla, one of many small villages in the Kingdom of Crystal. In the first years they only made purely functional glass. Since then they have extended the use of size, colours, various techniques and forms, resulting in a more artistic and sculptural production.

Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art is Mexico City's quintessential art museum where you get to see the genius of Rufino Tamayo plus whatever temporary exhibition is on at the moment. Rufino Tamayo was one of the most renowned artists of the second half of the twentieth century who sought to create paintings in "the Mexican tradition" while distancing himself from the political and nationalist movements. Another big draw of the museum is the brutalist building itself, designed by Teodoro González de León and Abraham Zabludovsky who drew their inspiration from pre-Hispanic architecture. The core of the Museo Tamayo's collection consists of more than 300 works by 170 artists. The collection includes examples of the most renowned artists of the second half of the 20th century.
