Åland has a shoreline numbering an incredible 17,000 km. Beaches lie in all directions. The mildness of the maritime climate and the contrast between calm bays and strong winds creating powerful waves outside the islands mean ideal kite surfing conditions. According to the local kite surfing professional, Patrik Larsson, Åland boasts at least 150 days of good surfing conditions annually. Fort Zachary Taylor Park features one of the most famous beaches in Key West, situated in the park of Fort Zachary Taylor. With 87 acres of delicate sand, bask in the sun, take the time to read your favorite book, and peek up to watch the brilliant cruise ships enter and exit the harbor. Go for a swim or snorkel in the turquoise waters. For a small fee, this beach also offers grilling amenities and access to picnic tables.

The Western Wall is the only part remaining of Solomon's Temple, built in the 10th century BC and destroyed twice. Praying here carries a lot of meaning for Jewish believers, who mumble hymns and insert prayers written on small pieces of paper between the bricks — every visitor is allowed to partake. The Temple was said to contain the Ark of the Covenant, a biblical golden chest. There are separate entrances for men and women leading to different parts of the wall. Friday evenings are particularly crowded, as Jewish people celebrate the arrival of Shabbat, the day of rest. Bar Mitzvah ceremonies take place in the morning on Monday, Thursday and Saturday: it's a great time to visit, as the place comes alive with Jewish song and dance.

Located in the heart of Rimini, it serves as the city's main square and a bustling meeting point for both locals and tourists.
