If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from crowded beaches and want to soak up the sun in a secluded spot, Durankulak Beach is the perfect destination. Located in the Shabla Municipality, about 106 kilometres from Varna, this tranquil beach offers a serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Like many other northern Bulgarian Black Sea destinations, having your own vehicle is essential to reach Durankulak Beach, as there is no public transport available from Varna or Golden Sands. As an added bonus, you’ll be just 2 kilometres away from the Romanian border.

Contrary to popular belief, Varna is not just about beaches and sunbathing. If you love games and fun, the Amusement Park offers a variety of attractions and entertainment facilities. While primarily designed for children, adults can also enjoy the lively atmosphere, take a stroll, or grab a bite at one of the many eateries nearby.

The Victoria Baths complex was designed by Manchester's first city architect, Henry Price, and opened in 1906. No expense was spared — the façade has multicoloured brickwork and terracotta decoration, the interior spaces are clad in glazed tiles and most of the windows have decorative stained glass. At the opening ceremony, the Lord Mayor described Victoria Baths as “a water palace of which every citizen of Manchester is proud”. For 86 years, the baths provided both essential and leisure facilities. Private baths and a laundry were housed there alongside three swimming pools and Turkish Baths. In 1952, the first public Aeratone (Jacuzzi) was installed. Even though the baths were closed in 1993, the Grade II listed building is remarkably intact, with most of the stained glass and original tiling remaining. Victoria Baths opens from March/April to October/November each year for weekly guided tours, public open days, and special events.

Boulevard World is a flagship zone of the annual Riyadh Season, a large-scale entertainment festival typically running from October to March.
