One of the most beautiful buildings in Cork, University College Cork was established in 1845 and has become central to the city's landscape. This visitors' centre organises walking tours of the historic grounds, which has no shortage of historical artefacts and statues. The building is also home to the world's largest collection of Ogham Stones featuring inscriptions in the Ogham or Old Irish script.

Compact rural Sakaka is cut through by its main street which is hard to miss. The street is lined with shops and government offices; the authentic Al-Nusl Hotel is also located here. In the town's north, the ancient fort of Qasr Za'abel is perched atop a scenic cliff; east from here is Jabal Burnus rock with carvings dating back to the 6th century BC.

This art museum in The Hague is home to some of the most eminent paintings in the world including pieces from Monet and Picasso. Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian remains the featured artist at the museum with over 300 of his paintings displayed there. Walking through the halls of this remarkable Art Deco building is an eye-opening experience. The early 20th-century architecture fashioned by H.P. Berlage consisting of colourful brickwork, marble flooring and ornamental brass finishes is considered to be his masterpiece. The museum is open to the public and you can skip the queues by booking ahead of time on their website.

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery offers complimentary tours to visitors of all ages for an in-depth look at how some of their beers are crafted. Since its founding in 1852 in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch has been perfecting this process one batch at a time. Those who are 21 and older will have the opportunity to taste some of their products in the Hospitality Room at the conclusion of the tour. The tour includes a stop to see and learn about the World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Their size and strength will amaze you, and their historic stables make for a great photo opportunity.
