Founded in 1934, the Livingstone Museum holds the distinction of being Zambia's largest and most historic museum. This cultural institution offers you a fascinating journey through galleries showcasing collections spanning natural history, archaeology and ethnography. Among its most prized possessions are the archives of Dr Livingstone's personal correspondence and historical documents. There's also a shop in the museum if you want to purchase quality local artwork or other souvenirs.

The oak trees that line the entrance to Boone Hall Plantation took over 200 years to meet and create the corridor leading to the home. Multiple tours are available that showcase all that happened at Boone Hall Plantation when it was a working residence.

Built upon the remains of a mosque, this church is dedicated to the city's patron saints, whose martyrdom coincides with the traditional date of the city's reconquest, believed to have occurred on July 17, 1243. The structure is a single-nave Gothic temple, featuring side chapels between buttresses that date back to the 14th and 15th centuries. The presbytery and the side doorway, known as the Anunciación, are designed in Renaissance style. Alongside the nave, the Baroque Communion Chapel can be found. The main facade is adorned with a grand doorway, also in Baroque style, which was crafted by Antonio Villanueva and Cristóbal Sánchez. Particular attention should be given to the Gothic-style bell tower, which is remarkably slender and likely completed in the mid-15th century. The tower features gargoyle-shaped drains in its corners and sculptures of mythical beasts. Additionally, the clock, commissioned by the town council in 1439, is of historical interest.

The Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki presents the history of Sephardic Jews and Jewish life in the region after the 15th century. It is one of the rare Jewish buildings that survived the fire of 1917. The museum is subdivided into several sections, where you can see the photo exhibit 'Thessaloniki, Sephardic Metropolis', appreciate religious artefacts and look at tombstones from the ancient Jewish cemetery of Thessaloniki. There is also a part dedicated to the Holocaust in Thessaloniki.
