The Natural History Museum is striking even before you step inside, with an architectural design inspired by geological forms that makes it one of Abu Dhabi’s most remarkable buildings. Inside, you’ll find meteorites, fossils, dinosaurs and other ancient species, all presented through educational guided tours. The museum leads you through different eras of natural history, emphasising the importance of protecting the planet, one of its core messages. The main entrance to the Archaeological Museum of Istria (Arheoloski Muzej Istre) is actually one of the original gates that served as an entry point into the old Roman town. The museum carries a fascinating range of archaeological artefacts from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages from the region. You will find architectural highlights on the ground floor, Neolithic and Roman era finds on the first floor, Roman antiquities and medieval period artefacts on the second floor. Due to reconstruction works, closed during 2018 and beginning 2019.

Qasr Al Hosn, the oldest and most significant building in Abu Dhabi, was built around the 1790s as the city's first permanent structure, initially serving as a watchtower to oversee coastal trade routes and protect the growing settlement. Over the centuries, it has been the home of the ruling family, the seat of government, a consultative council, and a national archive. Today, it stands as a living memorial and narrator of Abu Dhabi's history. The main entrance is adorned with colourful Islamic-style tiles, and inside, centuries-old mashrabiya screens and carved wooden doors showcase the enduring architectural beauty.

Dating back to 1810, when it was a private residence, the Museo de Artes Decorativas is the oldest building in Parque Vidal. The exhibits consist of crystals, statues and other decorative items spread throughout the beautiful home's interior.
