Located at the entrance to the Old City, near the Jaffa Gate, the old citadel (popularly known as the Tower of David) offers a great way to begin your visit to Jerusalem. From the top, you can admire the panoramic view of the surrounding area. To delve deeper into the city's history, visit the Museum of the History of Jerusalem, situated inside the fortress, or catch the Night Spectacular show, which combines entertainment and education. Built by Herod the Great, the citadel is thought to be the place where Jesus's death sentence was pronounced. It later served as a hub for the Crusaders and the Ottomans and was restored several times.

A haven for automotive enthusiasts, Albinsson & Sjöberg’s Car Museum showcases a diverse collection of unique cars that spans a wide range of eras. In addition to the impressive array of automobiles, the museum boasts an extensive collection of motorcycles, mopeds, and even a vintage boat. Constructed around the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, in the north-western part of the Old City, the area is home to several Christian sights. Few houses can be found here — it's mostly about religious buildings, educational facilities, and a plethora of cafés, restaurants, and shops. The streets are packed with vendors. It is especially worth exploring the area of Mauristan, teeming with shops and colourful stalls. Used as a market during the Roman Empire, the area hosted churches and hospices during the Crusades (in Persian, "Mauristan" means hospital).
