Varberg's art gallery offers exciting and engaging exhibitions throughout the year. Contemporary art takes the centre of the stage here, making it an open space for both national and international art. The space is also used to conduct extensive educational activities, with guided tours and workshops where visitors have their fair share of artistic exploration.

Vibrant, colourful, casual and young at heart, Nørrebro is a magic area of Copenhagen. Here you'll find trendy bars and fashionable designer shops next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. If you're into small design shops head for Elmegade or Jægersborggade, and if you like antiques Ravnsborggade is the place for you to head to. At Sankt Hans Torv and the streets around it, you have plenty of choices for dinner and drinks. At Assistens Cemetery, you can visit the graves of famous Danes, such as the famous fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen or philosopher Søren Kierkegaard.

The Old Village Museum in Kumrovec - a unique open-air museum in Croatia - is an ethnographical museum in site. They show the traditional way of life in the Sutla area as it was at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Josip Broz's family household is situated at the outskirts of the village and contains historical and ethnological display.

From this spot, with a little stretching and bending, you can see the tops of all five of Old Town's spires. Today, the square remains the social heart of the city, a venue for open-air concerts, handicraft fairs and Medieval markets. Each winter, it's home to the town's Christmas tree — a tradition that stretches back to 1441 — and a buzzing Christmas Market. In spring it hosts the Old Town Days festival, a modern version of a medieval carnival, where traditions from the Middle Ages are kept alive.
