Ranch Zara is a family farm working with horses and provides recreational riding on the terrains with views over Zagorje hills.

Under the shelter of lush rainforest, the archeological site of Kohunlich is an outstanding example of Maya architecture. Palaces, citadels, temples, such as the top attraction Temple of the Masks, and other elaborate structures are scattered over an area of more than 20 acres, with most landmarks dating back to as early as 250 to 600 AD. Chetumal is a common starting point to visit Kohunlich, but tours are available at the Costa Maya Cruise Port as well. The yellow-eyed penguins of the Otago Peninsula are only found in New Zealand and are the rarest ones in the world, with just 4,000-5,000 penguins currently in existence. You can get up close and personal with these delightful creatures along with the thriving New Zealand fur seals and sea lions on an eco-tour that combines all three.

Magnificent Roman ruins are found at The Western Excavation. Amidst the 4th Century B.C monuments, you will find the important remains of the ancient gymnastic ground called Xystos and the western public baths. The Roman Odeon amphitheatre is also close to this place.
