Often found on postcards of The Hague, the three windmills of Leidschendam are a short bike ride out from the city centre and worth a visit to experience the emblematic Dutch countryside. Several picturesque bike routes take you past typical farms and even a petting zoo, where you may come across some friendly highland cows en route. Alternatively, there is also a tram that leaves from The Hague's city centre and arrives less than half an hour later in Leidschendam where you can experience a more traditional Dutch lifestyle away from the bustle of the city.

Despite its compact size, the Sharjah Heritage Museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the Emirate's history, culture, and traditions—and how those transformed over the past ages. Clothing, musical instruments, coins, pottery, and various other artefacts are on display.

Now the city's main cathedral, it was built among a bit of controversy in the mid-20th century, as it replaced the original city church on Parque Vidal. It is home to a white statue of the Virgin Mary which was mysteriously lost for several decades, only to be found in a ditch and finally returned.

This is the place in Valladolid to kick back and relax at any time of the day. This large and green park located in the city centre is a delightful place to stroll among the peacocks and red squirrels, or kick back with an ice cream and watch the locals at leisure.
