Located in the southeastern part of Varna, the Roman Baths are the largest ancient public building discovered in Bulgaria. This remarkably well-preserved site offers visitors a chance to walk through history and admire the intricate details of the original structure. Technology lovers should not miss the quirky Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technical Museum. Named after the Dewan of Mysore, its five main galleries include a variety of different displays, from a replica of the Wright brothers’ 1903 flyer to virtual-reality computer games.

'Vinpearl' spell out the giant white letters across the bay from mainland Nha Trang, marking the location of a massive theme park and recreation area that is best reached via a scenic cable car ride (the world's longest sea-crossing cable car at 3.3km long). There is plenty to discover: from thrilling 'dry' rides such as the Sky Wheel and ZipLine to the extensive offerings of the water park, to seeing the park's animal residents (most notably on Monkey Island) at the on-site zoo and aquarium. “El Gunko” is what the indigenous people of the area call the strange and appealing volcanic stone formation in Boquete. It is 13.1 meters high and, apart from its unique beauty, offers the perfect conditions for a fast and easy climb for every nature lover.
