This is the premier trout fishing region in New South Wales and it takes over as the most popular sporting activity come the spring melt. Brown, rainbow and brook trout, as well as Atlantic salmon, breed and prosper here. It's possible to go fishing in winter, but only on lakes and reservoirs, as most streams are closed from late June until the first weekend of October. You can also fish at Lake Eucumbene, Lake Jindabyne and Khancoban Pondage to enjoy the best fishing in the region. Francisco de Goya, our most universal artist, was born in a village near Zaragoza called Fuendetodos. The Palacio de Los Pardo is home to the Goya Museum, dedicated to the writer and professor who bequeathed his private collection of paintings and sculptures to the city. The works exhibited span the 15th to the 20th century. Particularly noteworthy is the room dedicated exclusively to five series of etchings by Goya: Los Caprichos, La Tauromaquia, Los Disparates or Proverbios, Los Desastres de la Guerra and Los Toros de Burdeos.

The Czartoryski Museum houses a vast collection of ancient works of art from Greece and Egypt, but the key artworks here have to be Leonardo Da Vinci’s "Lady with an Ermine” and Rembrandt’s “Landscape with the Good Samaritan”.

The Planty Park is a 4-kilometre long, horseshoe shaped park that encircles the Old Town. This is a perfect place for a relaxing stroll or a lunch on one of the many benches in the shadow, to take a pause from the daily sightseeing.
