This park contains the most prestigious Taoist temple in Yunnan. The serene Golden Temple standing on the Mingfeng Mountain is the largest bronze temple in China. It was built by General Wu Sangui, and dates back to the early Qing Dynasty (17th century). Rare plants and tea flowers flourish in this traditional Chinese-style garden. It has become a local traditional custom to enjoy the blooming flowers in the park every annual Temple Fair, which is held on the 9th day of every Lunar New Year.

The splendid Yuantong Temple is the most important Buddhist site in the entire province, with a history of nearly 1200 years. Unlike at other temples, you enter at an elevation and make your way down through tranquil temple grounds – these feature ornate pavilions and halls (the main hall maintains Yuan dynasty architecture), mountain caves and stone staircases. carved directly into the cliff sides.

The embankment walls of the Danube Canal form a single, giant canvas. The area is open to graffiti artists who have turned the concrete walls into their very own art gallery in Vienna. From generic scribbles to political messages and intricate artworks: stroll along the banks and explore this tangible example of Viennese cultural life. Operated by passionate private collectors, The Third Man Museum displays over 3,000 artefacts, from original scripts and film props to period documents illustrating Allied-occupied Vienna (1945–1955). The collection spans 16 rooms, offering deep context into the film’s production and its historical backdrop. The above-ground Third Man Walking Tour, offered by independent guides, visits key filming locations in the Innere Stadt, including Josephsplatz and Mölkerbastei. Using film stills and audio clips, it recreates the film's mood while exploring Vienna’s historic centre. It focuses on the architectural and urban settings that shaped the story, without entering the sewers. Another tour, 3. Mann Tour – Sewer, descends into the functional sewers where the film’s climactic chase was shot. You’ll traverse walkways above flowing wastewater while projections of film scenes play on tunnel walls. It’s an immersive, if somewhat damp, experience. Tours are popular and require advance booking.
