The former home of American author and illustrator Edward Gorey, purchased in 1979, has been converted into a museum to honor his life and works. Built in 1820, this historic home showcases Gorey's distinctive style, known for its dark, whimsical, and sometimes macabre illustrations. His extensive collection of illustrated books has captivated readers of all ages, particularly children. Visitors to the museum can explore his creative legacy through exhibits and guided tours, which are available from April through December.

One of the principal museums and exhibitions of art in Ljubljana is dedicated to graphic arts. It displays an extensive collective of graphics and modern works of art. The Museum also hosts the International Biennial of Graphic Arts, one of the most acclaimed graphic events worldwide, first organised in 1955.

Just 20 minutes from the city, the Montes de Malaga Natural Park is a good escape if you want fresh air and quiet. Malaga’s biggest party of the year happens every August. Expect dancing in the streets, horses, live music, plenty of flamenco dresses, and locals handing you a glass of sweet wine. There are food stalls, rides, and casetas (tent bars) blasting everything from traditional Sevillanas to reggaeton.
