Two MCCA-operated Boston convention centers, the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, have received the rare gold standard of certification from the International Association of Congress Centers. A steady stream of huge international conventions is hosted here throughout the year.

The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores. Gamla Stan, Stockholm's historic Old Town, is a fascinating district that transports visitors back in time with its cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and rich cultural heritage. Strolling through Gamla Stan's narrow alleyways, you'll come across a treasure trove of well-preserved buildings, including the iconic Royal Palace and the renowned Storkyrkan Cathedral. The neighbourhood's charming squares, such as Stortorget and Järntorget, are adorned with colourful facades and brimming with cosy cafés, traditional restaurants, and charming shops. Gamla Stan also offers an array of museums and cultural attractions.

Golden Sands is famous for its stunning golden sand and expansive beaches along the Black Sea. It's located 18 kilometres north of Varna, close to Golden Sands National Park. The resort boasts several kilometres of beachfront. The southern end is the more recently developed and less crowded, while the northern end features numerous bars and small shops. You can reach Golden Sands by public transport. Bus number 109 connects Varna city centre to the resort, although the journey typically takes a little over an hour. Taxis are also available, but they tend to be on the pricier side.
