White Rock Lake is a 1,015 acre city lake located approximately 5 miles northeast of downtown Dallas. This is a beautiful site and perfect for picnic, walk, run or just people watching. The park also provides excellent fishing and sailing opportunities, as well as various leisure activities.

The main square of Timisoara’s Old Town is the most picturesque and a focal point for the whole city. Named "Union Square" after the two cathedrals that face one another across it, this is the perfect place to relax in a café and engage in some people watching.

Immerse yourself in an authentic naval experience at the USS Midway Museum, a real naval aircraft carrier once known as a "city at sea." With over 60 exhibits and more than 30 expertly restored aircraft, visitors can explore this 69,000-ton ship and discover its storied history. The Midway offers interactive activities, including flight simulators, ejection seat experiences, guided tours of the bridge, and access to authentic cockpits.

One of the greenest cities in the world, Vancouver is home to countless bird species. Eagles, herons, snow geese, owls, gulls, jays and sandpipers — you can find them all here. Casual watchers and serious ornithologists will enjoy the abundance of bird life in the region. The temperate rainforest, alpine landscapes and waterways bring you a variety of species like nowhere else in the urbanized world. You will be reaching for binoculars even downtown. Stanley Park, Pacific Spirit Regional Park, George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary, the Brackendale community and Boundary Bay are excellent places to see our feathered brethren.
