Constructed by the Balbi family in the 17th century, the Palazzo Reale (also known as Palazzo Stefano Balbi) was originally a sprawling aristocratic residence for three of the most powerful families in the city: the Balbis, Durazzos, and Savoys. Today, it serves as a museum and boasts an extensive collection of historical furniture, paintings, and sculptures. Visitors can also explore the impressive garden, which is teeming with lush vegetation and exotic flora.

A visit to Het Grachtenhuis (the Canal House) is the perfect way to learn more about the history of Amsterdam’s canal ring. The museum looks at the 17th-century city expansion projects that led to Amsterdam’s ring of canals which received UNESCO world heritage status in 2010. After seeing the interactive displays, you’ll look at Amsterdam in a whole new light when wandering through the city’s streets or taking a canal cruise.

This water garden is a must visit when you are in Nîmes. These colourful gardens are located just 10 min from the town centre and is a welcoming, serein place to spend a couple of hours. Feel free to bring a picnic.

A giant sparkling-white Buddha sits atop a hill at the foot of Trai Thuy Mountain, marking the location of a beautiful pagoda, one of Nha Trang's most notable sites. Walk through the mosaic-adorned halls and take the 152 steps that lead up to the pagoda; a spectacular view unfolds over Nha Trang in its entirety from up here. Footwear should be removed prior to entering the temples, and modest clothing covering the shoulders should be worn. Please note that the area is notorious for minor scam artists offering unsolicited services to tourists, which can be an annoyance.
