Römerberg is a medieval square and the hub of the Old Town, Altstadt. The original Römerberg was destroyed during World War II, but it has been rebuilt since and nowadays you can once again stroll around this beautiful square and look at the various buildings. Perhaps the most famous building here is the "Römer", which is the city hall, and has been so for the last 600 years.

Taghazout, a quaint fishing village just north of Agadir, is a haven for surfers. The village is alive with the rhythm of traditional fishing, with blue boats dotting the shore. Local shops provide surf gear, while the streets are lined with cafes and stores selling local crafts.
