Originally a German settlement, Greektown transformed in the early 20th century into a vibrant Greek neighborhood. Over time, as residents moved out, the area became a bustling commercial district, rich in Greek-themed restaurants, stores, and cafés. Today, Greektown is a must-visit destination for its delicious cuisine, lively atmosphere, and a taste of Greek culture in the heart of Detroit.

Built in 1963 to commemorate Tunisia's first president Habib Bourguiba, this colourful mosque demonstrates typical Tunisian religious architecture complete with pink marble pillars and golden mosaics which are exquisitely preserved. The impressive prayer room which is the focal point of the mosque can take up to one thousand visitors and is often busy with locals and tourists meandering through. It is worth noting that, although admittance to the mosque is free of charge, opening times may vary. The Lighthouse at the Port of Burgas, the first Bulgarian port lighthouse, has guided ships since the late 19th century. Designed by Sabi Denev and unintentionally looking like a red-and-white candy cane, it stands as a symbol of the city, visible from Central Beach and the Pier. While public access is restricted, the walk to the lighthouse offers panoramic sea views, though the route is unshaded, making early morning or late afternoon visits more comfortable. The surrounding area, with its wave-breaking concrete structures, provides a striking contrast and a peaceful spot to enjoy the sea.
