Canberra has an extensive network of designated bike lanes on both main and secondary roads. Outside the city, mountain bikers can explore the trails through the forests and pines. On firmer ground, road cyclists can navigate between bike-friendly cafes and bakeries in the Australian Capital Territory. The easiest way to get a bike in Canberra is by signing up for the Share A Bike bike-sharing scheme. They have automated bike rental machines around the city centre. Morro Bay State Park is home to several natural attractions, the most notable being Morro Rock, one of the coastal volcanic peaks known as the Nine Sisters. It's also home to a natural history museum, a public golf course, camp sites, and opportunities for an array of outdoor activities. The bay's northeast edge is a saltwater marsh that even serves as home to a thriving bird population.

Randers Tropical Zoo features the largest artificial rain forest in Europe, with mirroring the three rainforest continents: South America, Asia and Africa. Observe giant lianas, roaring waterfalls, and more than 450 different tropical plants, and 250 species of animals, and more than half of them walk around freely. If you are brave, you can also get very close to the snakes in the Asian snake yard, or to an armadillo or a green anaconda, which is the heaviest boa constrictor species in the world. For having a break from this wildlife experience, you can take it low with traditional Danish farming animals at the playground, or with a drink and a snack at the cafe.
