With over two hundred years in operation, the Callwood Rum Distillery is one of the oldest establishments in the British Virgin Islands, located in the stunning — and aptly named — Cane Garden Bay. This stunning church and the solemn graveyard that surround it date back to the XII century. Under the church there is an old crypt from the 1400's, which was used during the XVII century as a prison for women who were believed to be witches. Nowadays this membership boasts strong membership of both the Church of Scotland and the United Reformed Church.

Tucked into the hillside just outside Cortona, Le Celle is a small Franciscan hermitage dating back to the 13th century. It’s peaceful, simple, and still run by monks today. Saint Francis stayed here briefly, and you can actually see his old cell. The hermitage is a sight in itself, but also benefits from beautiful surroundings.
