Referred to locally as the 'Queen of the South', Cebu, the country’s oldest city, has now become its favourite tourist destination. With a wide choice of historical sights, long stretches of white sand beaches, excellent year-round scuba and water sport activities, diverse dining options, exciting nightlife, and, of course, the famous warm hospitality, it’s no surprise that visitor numbers, new hotels, and tourist attractions are on the rise.

Hungary has no marine coastline, but it does have the largest freshwater body in Central Europe, Lake Balaton. The lake has been popular since the Magyar tribes first galloped into the Carpathian Basin in 896, and it shows no signs of losing its appeal. A collection of resort towns and an interesting bicycle route ring the 77 km long lake. Hévíz-Balaton Airport is 20 km from Keszthely at the southern end of the lake. From there, you can hire a car or take a bus and explore some of the resorts.

Ramona, known as "The Valley of the Sun" in San Diego County, lies along the foothills of the noteworthy Cuyamaca Mountains, giving way to warm summers and comfortably mild winters. Ramona has emerged as one of California Wine Country’s more popular regions, since numerous winemakers have chosen to establish themselves among the town’s hills. Vineyards pair with the fine restaurants and welcoming cafes of the town center, and agricultural treasures span farms that offer the best of fresh fruit, vegetables, and even eggs harvested that same day.

Phoenix, the vibrant capital of Arizona, basks in a sun-drenched paradise known for its warm climate year-round, with summer temperatures often exceeding 100°F (~38°C)—the dry heat makes it more bearable though. The city is also the most populous state capital in the U.S., which translates to a richly diverse collection of cultures and activities. And perhaps most spectacularly, every drive or stroll through the city is accompanied by a backdrop of the Sonoran Desert, sandy mountain ranges, and eternal blue skies.

Mykonos is an eclectic place–pristine beaches, elegant boutiques, fine dining, and rowdy bars are all packed onto one tiny piece of land, a mere 15km long at its widest point. Partying is a round-the-clock affair here, against a scenic backdrop of whitewashed houses and Little Venice, Mykonos Town's most charming neighbourhood.
