As one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in Germany, Leipzig’s old town hall is well worth a visit. It is located on the market square of the city and, since 1909, not only offers a great photo opportunity, but also an interesting exhibition about the city’s history from the middle age until our recent and modern time.

The Pavilion, originally constructed in 1929 as a concert hall, underwent renovation in 1934 and reemerged as a theatre. Adorned in Art Deco style and supported by pillars of local Portland stone, it continues to host regular entertainment. A nearly uninterrupted 14-kilometre stretch of sand extends from Geraki to Laganas, forming one of the last major nesting sites for the endangered loggerhead turtle. To protect the species, much of Laganas Bay is designated as a National Marine Park, where powered water sports are prohibited. Despite these conservation efforts, the resort of Laganas itself remains the island's largest and most bustling centre for nightlife, known for its concentration of pubs, bars, and clubs. For a quieter experience, a narrow wooden footbridge connects the coast near Agios Sostis Beach to the small and picturesque Cameo Island.

Right next to the famous Red Square sits Moscow's first urban park since half a century. Designed by American architects Diller Scofidio and Renfro and inaugurated in September 2017, this massive piece of land in the heart of the Russian capital is more than just a park, it is a breath of fresh air to the city's landscape and a new meeting place for locals and tourists alike. Take a walk around its 35-acre grounds and visit its multiple attractions including: two amphitheaters, a market, a restaurant, a world-class philharmonic concert hall, an ice cave, and a boomerang-shaped bridge floating over the Moscow River.
