This Art Nouveau palace, constructed in the late 19th century, showcases the transformation of Prague into a modern capitalist city. Before its inauguration in 1911, the Czech artistic elite of the time contributed to creating what is today one of Europe's finest Art Nouveau monuments. The building underwent renovation from 1994 to 1997 and now houses the Smetana Hall — a celebrated concert venue — as well as a gallery, beer cellar and bar.

This building contains some modernist features and was built between 1911 and 1912 under the management of Juan Vidal Ramos over Balmes Square, over which there was still a part of the 18th century wall. With its rectangular shape, the Market mimics the layout of a basilica, with a circular appendix on the South-west side covered by a semispherical dome called La Rotonda (the roundabout). The building is split into two floors, one of which is a semi-basement due to the irregular surrounding streets. The front of the building was designed by Enrique Sánchez Sedeño and is presided by an impressive staircase surrounded by two emerging figures with decorative features. On 25th May 1938, the Mercado Central was hit during the worst bombing suffered by the city of Alicante during the Spanish Civil War, which resulted in 300 civilian victims. The Italian air force was responsible for that tragedy. The Josiah Dennis Manse, built in 1736, stands as one of the oldest buildings in Massachusetts. Once home to the town's namesake, Reverend Josiah Dennis, the manse now serves as a museum showcasing artifacts from his life and the early days of Dennis. Explore exhibits dedicated to his children's room, spinning and weaving techniques, and other aspects of 18th-century life. The complex also includes the 1745 schoolhouse, offering a glimpse into the history of education in the region.

At Royal Golf Dar Es Salam golf course, famous Hassan II Trophy was officially started in 1971. The golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones offers splendid fairways snaking between palm and eucalyptus trees and Roman remains.
