Since its origin in the Medieval times, Narodni Trg (People’s Square) has been the core of Zadar's public life. Dominating the westerns side of the square, the City Guard dates back to the 1562 and it's crested by a 19th-century clock tower. Nearby, St Lawrence church is the oldest preserved building of the town, while the Loggia on the opposite side is now a venue for exhibitions.

Agde, a history founded in 580 BC by the Greeks, anchoring the city between maritime trade and fishing. To better understand these maritime roots, be sure to visit the Belvédère de la Criée aux Poissons (the name given to the fish market). At Pézenas, which is so close and unique, UNESCO now protects this "intangible cultural heritage" that is so heart-felt and generously shared by the local residents, making it part of the place's DNA or better yet, its spirit. During your stay, be sure to take part in these seasonal events, which follow the path of the Sun: Nadal, the revival of light just before Christmas on the winter solstice; Carnival, the end of winter with the insolent breath of spring and rising sap; Sant Joan at the triumph of the summer solstice, and Martror, the day of the dead and winter of life accompanied by macabre dances.

At the Museum St. Anton am Arlberg you can find out more about the history of alpine skiing and the Arlberg region. This is an interesting and multi-visional museum.

This magnificent 19th-century building opened in 1892 and is regarded as an emblematic of the city. Teatro Campoamor is also the venue for the annual Prince of Asturias prize ceremony and for the city’s annual opera season and the Zarzuela music festival. The theatre’s elegant interior was influenced by the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid and is opulently decorated in scarlet, gold and red. On the first floor you can find the statue of Ramón de Campoamor, the Asturian poet after whom the theatre is named.
