Toulon Cathedral (Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-de-la-Seds) has been a work in progress since the 11th century, with each era leaving its mark. The mix of styles—from medieval to baroque—makes it a bit of an architectural patchwork, but that’s what makes it interesting. The Belarusian-born master painter, Marc Chagall, is one of the Riviera’s many adopted children. The museum was built in consultation with the artistic genius himself, on the theme of Biblical art. The museum has regularly recurring exhibitions of Jewish art.

The main hub of the mountain is the Plan Checrouit, but most skiers will use this as a starting point to access more challenging runs on the mountain as can be found at Mount Chetif, Col Cherout and Cresta Youla. At the top of the range there is Cresta d Arp, strictly for high level skiers, offering the chance to experience some good off piste guided skiing. Ski passes are available from 1 to 14 days. All passes valid for 6 to 10 consecutive days may be used for 2 days in one of the other ski resorts of the Aosta Valley, which include the resorts of La Thuile, La Rosière, and Champoluc-Gressoney-Alagna and also include access to Chamonix (lifts on the French side not included, though). Petit Cul-de-Sac offers a secluded coastal experience along St Barts' northeastern shore, protected between two peninsulas. Unlike more developed beaches, this spot maintains an undeveloped shoreline with calm waters suitable for swimming and snorkelling, where sea turtle sightings are common. The beach's location — west of Grand Cul-de-Sac and southwest of Petit Étang lagoon — remains deliberately unmarked, contributing to its “hidden gem” status. Visitors typically arrive via a left turn past the salt pond when approaching from Toiny. This wild beach offers no commercial facilities, so make sure to pack some water and a picnic basket.
