Located in the old town of West Dennis, Jericho Historical Center features historical buildings that served as home to the town's early residents. Captain Theophilus Baker’s house, built in 1801 and occupied by the Baker family in 1855, exhibits original furnishings, textiles, paintings and keepsakes, while Barn Museum offers insight into typical 19th century farm ambiance. Don't miss the cranberry exhibit, which delves into the 200-year-old story of this industry and the important role it played for Dennis since 1816.

Twice a year during winter and spring, on one of the most important migratory flyways in the world, tens of thousands of birds touch down on this small island to rest their weary bodies. Plovers, red shanks, egrets and sandpipers are just some of the winged visitors that can be seen here.

Bergen is surrounded by seven mountains, the highest of which, at 643 metres, is Mount Ulriken. Take the cable car up to the top or if you're feeling adventurous, choose one of the routes to the summit and conquer the mountain on foot or by bike.

Approximately 800 meters below the ground lie the ancient las Maravillas caves, whose age is estimated to be somewhere around 100,000 years. The caves are now open to the public, and an option of taking the elevator back up exists for those not thrilled about the upwards climb.
