The historic Medina is one of the city's simply unmissable sites - thick walls around it used to contain the settlement preceding that of modern Hammamet (up until late 19th century); today its windy narrow alleys and souqs are packed with ample shopping and dining spots.

Perched atop the Bosco plateau, just a stone's throw away from the Saint François Church and overlooking the Mediterranean sea, this cemetery dating back to 1823 enjoys some of the best views on the island. The captivating scenery of the Cimetière Marin make it a favourite amongst photographers, especially during breathtaking sunsets, when the pink granite really comes to life. Impressive family tombs and individual crypts carved out of the limestone terrain make this a very special, if sombre experience.

Inaugurated on 17 February 2008, the day when Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia, the monument that spells "newborn" embodies the state's "birth" and very real struggle for recognition, still ongoing as of today. Although the monument is well past its glory days, it still holds symbolic importance.

Here you will meet a living castle and castle-life. The hotel business cares about the castle's history and it has been carefully renovated. Teleborg's castle offers hotel and guesthouses. The castle has different common areas and meeting rooms; each and every one with it’s on history, suitable for groups of eight up to hundred people. The castle also houses a restaurant where you can dine with a view over the garden. Teleborgs castle was a wedding gift from the wealthy and slightly eccentric count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö, to his young wife Anna Koskull. The exterior of the castle today is virtually unchanged and is surrounded by the castle garden.
