Spain is the birthplace of some of the best guitarists in the world, and the Spanish Guitar Museum in Almería offers more than just simple exhibits. Here, visitors actively participate in the museum activities and, by extension, in the cultural life of the city of Almería. The museum consist of 3 halls showcasing 11 different exhibitions, both permanent and temporary. Begin your journey by delving into the life of Antonio de Torres, a local figure hailed as the inventor of the guitar, before moving on to the interactive and auditory rooms for a truly immersive experience.

Abbaye Saint Victor is Marseille's oldest church. The abbey is built by the graves of Marseille’s first martyrs. Throughout history, the building was used as a church, prison, warehouse and barracks. Entry is free of charge, but a small fee is collected for seeing the crypt containing important historical artefacts and sarcophagi.

The 17th century brought a cruel repression of beggars to France, and in Marseille many of them were imprisoned. Almshouses were opened to serve as workhouses for beggars and this specific building was just that. Nowadays the building, called La Vieille Charité in French, is a cultural centre and houses, among other things, museums such as the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology and the Museum of Art of Africa, Oceania and Amerindia.
