Natural formations like the Dunn’s River Falls are a good reason Jamaica has earned herself the nickname "Land of Springs." The 180-feet high, terraced waterfalls flowing down the travertine rocks just before making their way into the Caribbean is a stunning sight in itself, but there is also plenty to do here: climb the rocks, take a refreshing dip, or grab a zipline and see it all from above. There is also a water park for the youngest explorers.

Located in the Northeastern part of the city, the Muslim quarter will strike you as it is a lot busier than the adjacent Jewish one. Men smoke nargile inside the cafés while children play in the streets. The roads are lined with stands, and vendors loudly present their products. In the northern part, you will find the beautiful Damascus Gate. Built by Suleiman the Magnificent, it has triangular spires at the top, which gives it a resemblance to a crown.

Åland has a shoreline numbering an incredible 17,000 km. Beaches lie in all directions. The mildness of the maritime climate and the contrast between calm bays and strong winds creating powerful waves outside the islands mean ideal kite surfing conditions. According to the local kite surfing professional, Patrik Larsson, Åland boasts at least 150 days of good surfing conditions annually. In the summer it's best done on the waves, and in winter in open water further away from the shores. Kite surfing is popular on Åland. Jakarta Cathedral is a magnificent example of neo-Gothic architecture in the heart of Indonesia’s bustling capital. Inside, stained glass windows, tall spires, and an old pipe organ give a sense of its long history. It sits just across from the Istiqlal Mosque, and together the two landmarks reflect Jakarta’s mix of faiths and everyday coexistence.
