Linköping’s cathedral is Sweden’s best preserved medieval cathedral. There is much to discover here, the Gothic blind arcades with their remarkable stone figures, the glass sculpture Golgotha and Maria, which spreads its wonderful cloak of flowers out over us from one of the windows. Linköping’s cathedral is 110 metres long and the tower is 107 metres high. To know more about the cathedral's history, we would reccomend a guided tour.

The Nordic Center at Waterville Valley is responsible for over 40 miles of meticulously maintained trails for cross-country skiing, suitable for both classical and skate skiing. The full-service retail and rental shop offers equipment for all ages and skill levels, as well as lessons, clinics, and special Nordic events. Dogs are allowed on select trails, and the stunning New Hampshire wilderness adds to the experience, making it one of the region’s top spots for Nordic skiing.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kapaleeshwarar Temple is one of Chennai's oldest, with its origins dating back to the 8th century. The temple is renowned for its intricately detailed gopuram, or entrance tower, which stands about 37 metres high.

The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores.
