Built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle is 605 feet high with an observation deck at 520 feet and the rotating SkyCity restaurant at 500 feet. From the top of the Needle one can see not only the Downtown Seattle skyline, but also the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands.

Dr Sun Yat-sen was one of the pioneers at the forefront in the struggle to transform China from a dynastic feudal state to a republic for the people. He continues to be celebrated and the plan of his mausoleum is in the shape of an alarm bell, signifying the “perpetual ringing of the alarm bell to arouse people”. Dr Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum is a classic building of the architectural style used during the early days of the Republic of China.

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is one of the oldest museums in the Netherlands. Throughout the year, the museum hosts a rich spectrum of temporary exhibits on a variety of subjects. Besides that, the collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, etchings and objects is impressive. It features many major Dutch and European works spanning the period from the early middle ages to the 21st century, from Jeroen Bosch to Rembrandt and from Van Gogh to Salvador Dalí and Dutch Design. The museum building is closed for major renovation, but the entire collection of 145,000 objects accessible to the public in other museums. Within the Museumpark, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has built an art depot: Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen.

Located beneath the Flamenco Club El Taranto, the Arabic Aljibes are perfectly preserved 11th-century Moorish water cisterns. These wells used to be part of the water network that supplied both the inhabitants of Almería and the military troops. Currently, the Arab Cisterns host an array of exhibitions throughout the year.
