This small but pleasantly decorated museum gives insight into the traditional clothing and jewellery of both the Tunisian and Berber peoples. Stop in briefly and learn about the intricate designs of Monastir through the years. The Museum of Folk Arts & Traditions is located near the Bourguiba Mosque and is a nice, easy, inexpensive addition to a busy schedule.

Gustavia blends St Barts’ Swedish heritage with Caribbean flair, its pastel harbourfront lined with designer boutiques and cafés. For history and panoramas, hike Rue des Dinzey to Fort Karl, where 18th-century Swedish cannons and the ruins of a bottle-shaped lighthouse overlook Shell Beach and the marina. History lingers in every detail: from the ruins of the fort to the Wall House Museum’s island artefacts, Gustavia rewards slow exploration. Across the bay, the Gustavia Lighthouse offers a quieter escape. Locals and visitors often bring sunset picnics here, watching yachts navigate the harbour mouth. Northern Dalarna boasts 560 kilometers of well-prepared cross-country ski tracks waiting to take you on new adventures. The trails are divided among 19 different track centers, with at least one near each of our four main localities: Grövelsjön, Idre, Särna and Älvdalen. There are plenty of illuminated ski tracks for evening tours in the winter darkness.
