Part of the natural park of Ria Formosa, Ludo offers various trails between 5 and 15km. Ideal for walking, running or cycling, these trails take in unique views of the lagoons, marshlands, and palm trees. As well as this, wild birds are abundant — including flamingos!

The Girona's most ancient church, serving as the city's cathedral until the 10th century, is a spectacular Gothic building with an imposing bell tower built between the 14th and 16th centuries. The church holds regular services and houses some impressive works of art.

One of the oldest and largest mosques in China, the Great Mosque of Xi'an is a fascinating blend of Islamic and Chinese architectural styles. Built in the 8th century, it’s a stunning example of how different cultures can come together in harmony. As you wander through its peaceful courtyards, you’ll spot pagoda-like minarets, intricately carved wooden beams, and beautiful Arabic calligraphy—all set against a backdrop of serene gardens. The mosque is still an active place of worship, offering visitors a chance to witness the unique fusion of Chinese and Islamic traditions.

This tourist walking route runs along what is now left of the old city walls, which was still intact as recently as 1892. In recent years, the remaining parts of the eastern city walls have been reconstructed and magnificent views of Girona’s attractions can be enjoyed from the wall.
