Exhibits trace their profound contributions to medicine, astronomy and philosophy, while also confronting darker chapters like the Inquisition and the 1492 expulsion. Highlights include an 11th-century miqvé (ritual bath), funerary slabs with Hebrew inscriptions, and the original expulsion edict. Detailed multilingual panels guide visitors through themes of daily life, rituals, and cultural exchange. Beyond the museum, the quarter itself whispers with history. Wander its cobbled lanes to sense the resilience of a community that shaped Girona for centuries.

Killary Harbour, nestled between counties Mayo and Galway, is one of three glacial fjords that exist in Ireland today. Navigate the rugged and dramatic landscape of Connemara, with its blanket bogs and dazzling beaches, by walking on the so-called Green Road, which runs alongside the fjiord. Alternatively, you can go on a boat tour and enjoy the majestic views. There's a chance you might spot seals and dolphins.

Al-Shaheed Martyrs Memorial is one of Baghdad’s most recognisable landmarks, commemorating the courage and sacrifice of Iraqis who fought in various wars. Designed by renowned Iraqi architect Ismail Fatah Al Turk, the monument was built between 1981 and 1983. Located about 4.5 kilometres north of Tahrir Square, near the Tigris River, the site forms part of a larger complex that includes well-maintained green spaces, trees, and an indoor park. Although the memorial is currently closed for renovations, as is the case with several historical sites in Iraq, you can always negotiate with the on-site guards for a closer look past the gate.
