Travemünde Sailing Week - that’s sailing and a festival at the same time with the sea always in view, cheerful music in your ear, cool drinks and tasty treats. This is the party we love and know for many years. When the Who is Who of sailing meets in Travemünde to compete in a strong breeze on the waves of the Baltic Sea, you will be there to experience it live as a spectator. Stroll down the promenade directly on the waterfront, never losing sight of the lively comings and goings on the water. Take a break with a refreshment and enjoy the numerous culinary temptations and a bit of live music: the Brügmanngarten will become a small but fine dining area this year. Your culinary enjoyment is accompanied by a selected music program with singer-songwriter sounds. That is the plan for 2022 as well, but for now it is too early to say what next year will bring. You can be sure that everyone involved will do their best to make this beloved event happen in the best way possible. Stay tuned!

We declare the sea open! Travemünde starts the new swimming season with a bold leap into the cold waters. Attention all water nymphs, the sea is open! The traditional “Anbaden” ceremony in Travemünde is a MUST for all really bold and daring swimmers. All the rest can celebrate the heroes after their dip in the water.
