Stockholm-Västerås Airport is located five kilometres outside Västerås, just a 15-minute drive from the city centre, and approximately 80 minutes from Stockholm.
City bus no. 3 provides easy access to the airport departing from the Västerås city centre. Travellers coming from Stockholm can opt for a train journey with SJ from Stockholm Central, reaching Västerås in 60 minutes.
Currently, the airport is exclusively served by Ryanair, offering flights to Alicante, London, and Malaga.
