The Passage

Haagse Market
Thousands flock to the Haagse Market, the largest outdoor market in the Netherlands and one of the biggest in Europe, to buy their groceries, household items and clothes from vendors lining the long aisles that stretch down to the south of the city. The ‘Fir Tree Road’ as the Denneweg is referred to in English, is one of the oldest streets in The Hague. The Van Kleef Distillery is the last remaining jenever distillery in the Netherlands and as such, it serves as a museum as well as a liquor shop.
