Poznań Malta Festival is the biggest and the most famous festival that is organized in Poznań. It started out as a festival to promote street theater and street art. Back in the day most shows took place at Malta Lake, located in the center of the city, that’s where the Festival gets its name from. With time due to its popularity and great reputation the festival expanded and became one of the most influential festivals in Europe dedicated to performative art forms. For a number of years now each edition has had a main topic around which the whole festival revolves. Examples for these topics are: Asia, South America, Man & Machine.

Poznań Tourist Organisation with partners invites to the Poznań Fortress Days, which are held every year at the end of August. This years' edition of Poznan Fortress Days will again focus not only on the Prussian Fortress, but also on medieval fortifications. This will be the opportunity to visit and experience Fort III, Fort IVa, Fort Va, Fort VI, Fort VII, museums in the Citadel Park, Cathedral Sluice, "Genius Loci" Archeological Reserve, air raid shelter in Wilson Park and more.

Poznań Bethlehem 2016 will take us to a true winter land. A land full of ice, snowflakes and Christmas attractions, and all of it thanks to original arrangements that will be located on the Old Market Square (03-22.12.2016) and Plac Wolności (Freedom Square, 26.11-22.12.2016) of Poznań during this magical time.
