Lemonokipos (Rethymno)
The guide was updated:Lemonokipos is situated near the centre of the medieval town of Rethymnon, in the courtyard of an old Venetian mansion. The restaurant has a history of over a century, since it was originally opened in 1910. The name means "the lemon tree garden", as the restaurant features a lovely one. The cuisine is based on the local Cretan tradition, but with a modern twist, so you will have the opportunity to taste both old traditional recipes and modern flavors of Greek and international cuisine.
