Citizens of these countries must obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling. All other travelers must obtain a visa before visiting the United States. The best time to visit Atlanta is during the spring (March-May) when the weather is mild, hotel prices are somewhat lower and the city hosts a few outdoor concerts and events, including the Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Summers in Atlanta are known for being fairly hot and humid, hotel prices are high, and the city becomes crowded with tourists, but that's when most festivals take place, such as the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival and the Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival. Be aware that September is hurricane season in Atlanta.
