This fine golden sandy beach is almost three kilometres in length and up to one hundred metres wide. Its facilities include lifeguard watchtowers, a Red Cross post, car park, footbath, toilets, disabled access. It is perfect for enjoying water-based activities, sports and also has play parks for children. Along the beachfront there are all kinds of shops and restaurants.

This beach is in the city itself, at the foot of Mount Benacantil on which Santa Barbara Castle stands. It has a lovely promenade offering beautiful views over the bay. The beach is made up of fine golden sand and is ideal for sunbathing, reading, etc.
