With plenty of shopping centres in Rockhampton you will be spoilt for choice. The city centre has plenty on offer with lots of well-known stores as well as individual shops. Each shopping plaza in the area includes a national grocery store chain plus lots of speciality outlets.

In Allenstown there are lots of cafes, and boutiques situated on the corner of Canning St & Upper Dawson Road, Rockhampton. The City Centre Plaza on the corner of Fitzroy and Bolsover Street are in a great position and include Coles and Target as well as some very cool and groovy shops.

Those looking for gems and jewels need to make for East Street City Heart Mall where you will also find traditional retail and food outlets all set within beautiful scenery. A bit further out the local Kmart Plaza in Musgrave Street, North Rockhampton will soon be merging with the Stockland Centre to make it one of the biggest shopping centres between Brisbane and Cairns. North Rockhampton’s major retail centre Stockland Rockhampton on the corner of Highway One and Yaamba Road. A shopper’s paradise with all traditional retail outlets it has its own sensational food court.
