Marstrands Havshotel

Bryggan Fjällbacka
Fjällbacka’s picturesque yachting harbour is the location of Bryggan Fjällbacka, which has approximately ten guest rooms, a penthouse, and an apartment. The hotel is housed in old warehouses from the 18th century, now converted and tastefully decorated in a light and bright Newport style. From the penthouse you can see straight into the piano bar, or out across the ocean. The apartment has generous panorama windows facing the sea, a terrace which is not overlooked, and have been classed as ‘a first class experience’ by satisfied guests. In 2005, the restaurant was voted Best Restaurant in Bohuslän by White Restaurant Guide. During the warm summer months diners can enjoy newly caught fresh fish and shellfish, sitting right next to the water. From the piano bar you can look out over the harbour and the inlet.
Idas Brygga
With its wonderful location in Karlsborg, by Lake Vättern and overlooking Göta Canal, Idas Brygga offers seaside accommodation, good food, and nature-based activities. Two types of accommodation are available: the double rooms in Skepparhuset, adjacent to the restaurant, have their own outdoor seating area or balcony overlooking the canal. Idas Brygga has been given the title Very Good Value Restaurant by the guides Sveriges Bästa Bord and White Guide. The Strandgården Accommodation is located a 10-15-minute walk from the restaurant. Here, guests can watch the sun setting over the lake Bottensjön, and enjoy musical entertainment or stand-up comedy organised by the restaurant.

Floating hotel - Salt & Sill
Salt & Sill, in the historic fishing community Klädesholmen is proud to be Sweden’s first floating hotel. The hotel consists of six two-storey buildings, constructed on floating pontoons. The room interiors are characterised by modern Scandinavian simplicity, and some of the ground floor rooms have their own swim ladder straight into the Skagerrak. The entire roof of the hotel is used as a sundeck, and there is a Jacuzzi with sea views. The sauna boat, SS Silla, is moored next to the hotel. Salt & Sill’s coastal restaurant serves fish, shellfish, and the ‘Herring Board’ – a dish which has contributed to the restaurant’s international renown. Salt & Sill has been given the titles "Worth a Journey" and "White’s Heart" by the White Guide and the quality certification Västsvensk Mersmak from the West Sweden Tourist Board.
Villa Sjötorp
The beautiful Villa Sjötorp was built in 1901 and has for more than a century enchanted guests with its original architecture, ornate woodwork, and traditional design. The rooms have been furnished to meet modern demands for comfort, but without compromising on the feeling of being in the countryside. Nearby is a sandy beach, which is suitable for swimming. A three-minute walk away is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Sweden, and guests can enjoy pleasant walks in forests and on mountains, fishing, sailing, and nature experiences. Grand Hotel Marstrand

Smögen’s Havsbad has become a part of the history of the island, and its spectacular extension built partly inside the mountain, has contributed to the fact that many consider this to be one of the most beautiful hotels in Sweden.
