Minorca - Cafes
Coffee ‘time outs’ are obligatory in the Minorcan culture. Thankfully, there are plenty of venues to satisfy the craving, many with spectacular ocean views.
Bar Los Claveles Segafredo
Follow the smell of freshly made bread to this bakery, cake and coffee shop in the centre of Mao, very popular with locals and visitors alike.
Bar Cafeteria Es Bruc
As close to the briny as you can get without getting salt water in your coffee, the outside terrace is mere metres from the water’s edge. Great pit stop for a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a light bite to eat.
Café Bar Ca Na Divina
Locals’ favourite in the old quarter of Alaior. Small and friendly with a good selection of Minorcan pastries and a summer terrace.
La Perla de La Habana
A great place to go for a little Cuban flavour! You can have a light snack, a cocktail or a light lunch, either way, you will enjoy yourself.
Café de Ponent
You shouldn’t leave Menorca until you’ve tried "pintxos" - the typically Basque snack that are usually eaten together with friends or family. The Café de Ponent is a good place to try them.
