Hamburg - Eating
Hamburg is one of Germany’s best cities for eating shellfish and fish. In the morning the fishing boats head into the harbour with the night’s catch. For more than two decades the residents of Hamburg have been making a pilgrimage to the restaurant which is famous for its food and mango ice cream. Shalimar is open every day from 6 p.m-12 a.m, which is unusual in Hamburg where most restaurants are closed on Sundays.
Fischküche
Fresh fish and shellfish from the day’s catch are prepared at Fischküche. What’s more, it all takes place in a corner of the restaurant where the guests can see what is being cooked.
