Mutrah Corniche is Muscat’s shimmering waterfront promenade, where the azure waves of the Gulf of Oman gently lap against a picturesque harbour lined with palm trees and vibrant architecture. This scenic stretch offers an interesting blend of modern leisure and traditional charm, with its bustling fish market, historic forts, and cafés. As the sun sets, the Corniche transforms into a lively tapestry of illuminated dhows and ambient street life, making it an ideal spot for a sunset stroll. Unique to this coastal gem, the Corniche also boasts striking views of the nearby Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts, which stand sentinel over the bay, adding a touch of historic grandeur to your leisurely exploration.

The Gardens by the Bay are among the world's most spectacular urban developments. The spectacular park also offers numerous benefits to the environment. Gigantic 'Super-trees' house 158,000 plants that help offset some of the city’s carbon emissions. They also collect rainwater into reservoirs that are used to water the rest of the park. Some of the Super-trees are equipped with solar panels.

Belghazi is a private museum housed in a 17th-century palace, whose collection nearly rivals the one of Dar Batha Museum. As many of the items on display are actually for sale, do have a proper look for taking home a really unique souvenir.

The museum is situated in the Oršić manor house built in 1756. The permanent exhibition gives an interesting cultural and historical survey of the region from the 14th century till the abolishment of the feudal system in 1848.
