As an additional plus, there are 28 different orchids growing throughout the island. There are also numerous destinations for excursions. Öland Zoo and Amusement Park is the largest of its kind in the country. The royal family’s summer palace Solliden, Eketorp ancient castle, Öland’s Himmelsberga Museum and Borgholm Castle.
