Macedonia is heavily influenced by European cuisine, particularly Greek and Italian because of its proximity to these two countries. A wide variety of local Macedonian specialties are available, as well as some surprises such as Indian and Chinese fare. Most menus appear in English as well as Macedonian.

The name literally means "Old City House.” This restaurant is housed in a beautifully renovated, old-style Macedonian house, dating from 1836.

Oreova lad is located in the sport-recreation center “Saraj” in west Skopje. They serve traditional Macedonian cuisine and on weekends they have live music.
