Airport
Cagliari Elmas Airport is located 6km northwest of town.
Coaches connect the airport with the bus station in Piazza Matteotti in the city centre and run approximately every hour. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Taxis from the airport to the city are about €10-15.
Public transport
Most of the points of interest can be reached easily on foot, although there is an extensive network of buses. Tickets can be obtained from newspaper vendors or tobacconists.
